Saturday 19th June sees Lingfield Park host an evening racing and live music from the one of the UK's most-celebrated and high-profile Abba tribute bands, Abba Inferno.
Abba Inferno performs at venues all around the UK and the world in front of sell-out audiences. Formed in the late 1990s with the aim of taking the tribute show to another level, one of the key features of Abba Inferno is completely live vocals in every performance. There are no back-up vocals on the tracks so the four members are all great singers in their own right - and the girls are also fabulous dancers! Incorporating a dash of humour with a good deal of audience participation, the band is equally at home playing to a select corporate/society audience, at an intimate wedding celebration, or in front of thousands at outdoor festivals throughout the UK and Europe.
Entertainment from Abba Inferno marks the beginning of an exciting series of Racing & Music Nights and as always promises a whole host of entertainment to include great racing, live music and a fabulous firework display. Today also hosts the 10th annual mascot race organised by The Children's Trust, Tadworth. The Trust team will be on-site from 3pm collecting money at the gates as visitors enter and exit, and the mascot race will start at 7.30pm. This year is set to be a competitive one with 20 runners in total, four of whom make up The Children's Trust's mascot racing team. Look out of Tadworth the Hound, Lord Percy the Bear and local Horsham FC favourite Howie the Hornet as they battle for a podium finish.
The Children's Trust, Tadworth, is a national charity providing care, education and therapy to children with multiple disabilities and complex health needs, and rehabilitation services to children with an acquired brain injury (ABI). The Trust celebrated its 25th anniversary last year, marked by the opening of the UK's largest paediatric residential rehabilitation centre for children and young people with ABI at its Tadworth site in Surrey. This year, the Trust is growing its Community Support Service to help reach even more children with acquired brain injuries from across the UK.

"Lingfield Park has been a fantastic supporter of the Trust over the years and I am thrilled to be here for the 10th mascot race at the course. Our mascots have been training hard for their trot round the course and are looking forward to the final furlong as they dash towards the finish with the crowds cheering them on."
Tickets purchased before 5pm, 2 working days prior to the raceday will qualify for the advanced booking discounts. For example, the prices will change at 5pm on the Wednesday prior to a Saturday raceday.
